p.s.: argh.. i miss my dearest mr.calvin.. I miss my family.. well, i miss everyone in fact.. Singapore of course and the variety of great food back home. can't wait to be back... another 2 more weeks!!!

In Germany... Wee!!!
I left for Germany on 11.05.06 at 8.15am for Frankfurt. And I was really thankful that close buddies like ms. Kit, ms. Shiva and ms.Sang were there to come send me off. ms. Listya tried to, but she was late. But the thought that my friends are so nice and thoughtful just makes me feel so proud that i have such great friends.
That day was also a significant day because it marked the day that my parents meet mr. Calvin for the first time. It was really awkward because my folks thought that mr. Calvin was mr. Gabriel because he came early and was with me, ms. xiaowen and ms. yue ru.. so erm.. mistaken identity. Only my dad seemed to recognise mr.calvin. My mum was obviously surprised. hahaha...
The flight was okay... with the airline food being tasty and with my MP3 to entertain me.. the whole journey did not seem sooo bad after all. On board the plane, we noticed a really pretty Thai Air Stewardess and she was like the sweetest looking girl i've ever seen. So the 4 of us... sooo "suah gu", went and ask her to take a photo w us at the end of our flight to Bangkok. Haha.. The next flight occurred like 1 hour later and on board were many germans. It was sooo weird to be the minority on board and they were really looking at us, 4 innocent looking teenagers... It was a little frightening and threatening but then, we got over it la.
Upon arriving in Frankfurt, it was already an "amazing race" kind of scenario for us. We tried to understand the signs, get to the baggage claim counter and get on the train to the Main Railway station. Thankfully we know a little german and so, getting around was a little manageable. There were a few kind hearted souls who helped us get to our hotel and we were really tired by the time we got back. Because we checked in to the hotel at around 8pm (2Am Singapore Time). This means that the 4 of us have been actively awake for almost 22 hours. CRAZY!!!
We woke up around 8am (2Pm Singapore time) and went down to have a great breakfast offered by the Hotel. We stayed in Europa Hotel and it was really close to the main railway station.. Which is gd and convenient for us. :) We explored the shopping areas and to our horror, found out that food stuff like Mcdo, Burger King was priced twice that of Singapore's. The mineral water was really as expensive as the beer and it was the first time, I paid close to S$6.20 for a bottle of 2Litre mineral water. Sheesh!!! And over here, i was really practically window shopping and did not dare to splurge on anything until I saw BIRKENSTOCK!!! Haha... i finally bought 1 pair and they are really cool! haha... So happy lor.. got one for mr. calvin too.. and I really can't wait for him to wear it. :P
We explored Frankfurt and the landmarks such as Ro:merberg and went to different 'estates' to explore. It was really cool travelling by the S Bahn, U Bahn and also the Tram... A great experience and I must say, the public transport of Frankfurt is really good and efficient.
Many friendly people helped us along the way, like the Handsome Baker that ms. xiaowen was really crazy about.. haha... the man who helped us buy the all day transportation ticket and also the lady who taught us how to do to the shopping centre.
I took a lot of scenery photos because the scenes of germany are really different from singapore. The weather is amazing and cool. I really like the weather, the atmosphere and even the people.
I'm thankful to God for the safe journey and our exploration of the city. Most of all, I'm thankful to God for my parents who have given me this opportunity to tour on my own. Yeah!

Sentosa Rocks!!! - 030506
Sentosa rocks!! Me, ms. shivaranjani, mr. darren and ms. joanne tried the Sentosa Luge! It was darn cool!!! haha.. it was super fun.. because we went up up into the sky and had a great view of the island!!! Besides, the Luge was a kind of go-kart style kind of sport which was sooo exciting!!! haha... You all have to try it!!! ;)

Sleepless in Singapore.
Been a long time since i have been sleepless. A really really long time. I can't remember the last time, I have never been able to get asleep and end up staring at the ceiling for hours.
Earlier, I was actually happy that exams were over, and that i could sleep properly and even not stay up to study. I was laughing over the fact that I crazily went to Sentosa immediately after my last paper to enjoy the sun, sand and the sea..
Well, I'm up... now at 4.24am... not studying and not mugging... not hyper and excited abt what happened at Sentosa yday... neither abt what might happen later. but just sitting and stoning..
thousands of thoughts, ideas, choices and decisions are running in my head.................................. that i think i'm going to have a headache.
I'm thankful there's such a thing as the internet where there's countless things for me to do - play games, chat, surf websites, read friendster...
well, I'm just stoning.. watching the clock tick by...

Man Utd Vs. Chelsea Nite.. 290406
Haha.. Babelicious girls ya? Haha... no la.. ms. Xiaowen looked absolutely hot that day. She's sooo attractive and smart!!! Haha.. Liverpool fan who loves soccer like mad.. I wonder why she came to watch Man Utd and Chelsea.. haha.. *gRinz*
Our dessert!!! Gosh... Breko Cafe is simply the coolest... Offering both yummy desserts and the great atmosphere!!! Check it out at Bugis Village ya? It's really affordable and we really enjoyed ourselves!
Haha.. He should be no stranger to you all now.. haha... mr. calvin joined us only after the match because he simply lurves working for motorola. LOL!!! It's super ironic that I'm a man utd fan but i'm wearing blue. He's a chelsea fan.. but he's wearing red!!! argh! So pissed with him that day coz he kept saying Chelsea was being nice to Man Utd by trashing them 3-0 and they could have repeated the 5-1 history. I couldn't help whacking him lor!!! haha... but of coz.. couldn't bear to continue for very long too.. hee!
Don't ask me why i look odd in the two photos. I think I din know where to look. *Faint* So sad.. i spoiled the photo when mr. calvin looks sooo hot in it. right ladies? hahahaha..
haha.. Qingquan... this guy ar... supports which ever team that is supposed to win for the match.. coz erm.. haha.. he has investments in games u know wat i mean..
mr. Gabriel and his friends.. haha.. Singapore's a really small world.. One of them is mr. Calvin's JC friend..
muahaha... My 'mummy' and erm... 'daddy'? hahaha... these two are sooo protective over me. especially ms. xiaowen. but sooo sweet.. they were just obeying mr.calvin's orders. hahahahaha... lol!!! just joking la. ;) a picture perfect shot!!!
Overall, it was a great outing and also an absolutely disastrous day to watch Man Utd defeated by Chelsea. haha... But i enjoyed myself with this new company.. haha.. They're really friendly fun-loving! ;) Till Saturday ya?
