FINALLY BACK ~~~~!!!!!
After a long absence, silence, mia - missing in action and or in German, ein Pause... I'm back~!
Really sorry for not updating my blog... but since i'm here!!! Gosh.. i'll give you a mega update and summarise everything that has occurred through out this 2-3 months that you have been missing me!!! awww... you poor chaps. lol! Actually, i doubt there's really anyone sooo interested to know abt my life. But i just enjoy the moments of being sooo self-centred.
Anyway, after Union Camp and stuff, it was only right that i got to enjoy my holidays to the max!!! But first, i had to do stuff as NUSSU's DBS Account Manager... how nice it sounds rite? Well, basically i had to organise the DBS NUS Debit card roadshow in campus and the roadshow during matriculation fair was super tiring!!! Thank God i had a superb team of helpers, who were really enthusiastic and sooo forgiving. Gosh, i don't know what i would have done without them lor...
Namely, Darling dearest Calvin, Super duper bestie Shiva, Indian-wannabe Darren, Sweet Joanne, X-tina with SOC Yandao Zhijia, PeiQi and Zeting - the silent killers.. haha.. they seem outwardly soo quiet but actually they rock!, Goofy Jason and Siwei, 'Eric' Weixiong, MIA Mark, helpful Jasmine and Maxine, who came down just for a couple of hours to help me and calvin out and sooo on... did I forget anyone? I can't remember...
Well, that was our treat for working hard for 4 days and me and Calvin went down to N.Y.D.C. at Holland V.. We enjoyed ourselves man.. by eating good food. We looked tired didn't we? Haha.. But anyhow, we spent quality time during the roadshow.. amazingly.. and after the roadshow. Well, thinking back on how we stuck by each other during the gruelling roadshow hours, i really appreciate having him around me all the time. Because i can depend on him and i truly treasure him a lot... *sorry if it's too mushy for u to read it.. but i seriously don't know whether i could pull thru if he wasn't around... somemore, he gave up his well-paying part time job just to earn $6 an hour with me..*
We definitely had better things to do than to work!!! Haha.. Sorry if it seems as though i spent my holidays entirely with mr.calvin, but it's the truth and i can't deny it ya.. hehe.. Well, the next highlight has got to be national day parade preview!!! Ooops... it occurred before the matriculation fair. hehe.. paiseh.
Anyway, calvin's papa is sooo nice to give us the tickets to the preview which he got from his RC. He could have gone together with calvin's mama.. but he didn't. Well, calvin's jiejie let us have the tickets because they went to last year's one. AHHH... long story la. In short, we went to watch the NDP Preview!!! And i got to watch fireworks!!! Man.. do i love fireworks... it's sooo beautiful and really funny when i watched the video that i took.. coz it recorded all the "ooohhhss.. and aaahhhs.." that i was exclaiming through out the show.
And guess who we met at the NDP Preview?! ms. kitying, ms. listya and mr. monkey- farid!!! Gosh.. it was a mini YJC 210 gathering in the good old national stadium. it's the last ndp to be held there by the way... So glad that we were part of the action!
Anyway, it was also the first time that i witnessed the entire Singapore be sooo "garang" where people were all adorned in red and cheering for Singapore. And i was complaning about Singaporeans not being patriotic when i was in Germany and witnessed how Germans cheer for their soccer team...
We went back to the National Stadium.. not there exactly but near there... went to the indoor stadium to watch the Philips Singapore Basketball Championships. That was where i got to watch erm.. Olympic teams battle it out in my favourite sport! I miss playing basketball.... sigh.. miss those days where every day was spent at the basketball court in the grounds of AISS and just playing with anyone under the hot sun and even in my school uniform. It was sooo unglam lor. But who cares, i had fun.
Anyway, how did we get the tickets? calvin's jiejie, wendy won the season tickets and we got to watch for free!!! Haha.. how come their family always seems to get the lobangs... haha..
Well, we found time to go down to East Coast Park to have a picnic and cycle. Haha.. of all pictures, i had to pick this one out where i look super unglam and horrid. But well, it was candid. We always have a hard time finding people to take photos of the both of us, because i feel paiseh having to approach some stranger to take photos of us.. Well, i did take a couple of other photos at ECP... but haha.. they are all of mr. calvin and if i posted those photos on my blog.. i think i'll never hear the end from him... lol!!! well, i leave it to your imagination to guess what kind of photos i took of him. hehe...
I can't remember which date it was exactly but i celebrated Anu's birthday at her place!!! And you know what's the funniest thing.. we didn't manage to take a photo with her! other than those her mum took for us... haha.. need to chase her for them! Well, Shiva, Hamsa and Darren were there too.. sad that Maymay had work and couldn't join... well, VADERS ROCK!!!!!!!
Betcha didn't know i could look this glam-ed up right?! Hahaha... CHECK OUT THE HOT BABE PATRICIA!!! hahaa.. that was taken at Union Ball 2006. Well, it was kinda hectic for me... coz i had to juggle between radio, nussu and studies... and that period was super busy for me and i had to do sooo many things in a very short time. But i'm glad that it's over and that that night was flawless. to me that is. The cute Kaka-ians were all dressed sooo beautifully and our very own Siwei and Douglas were the top 3 finalists!!! Douglas was named MR. NUS 2006... how cool~~~!!!
That's such a cute photo rite? Well, that day marked the start of our FOOD HUNT!!! Well, mr. calvin and i.. decided to spend our weekends in a fun and meaningful way... by searching for good food around town!!! And we did! Haha.. we checked out this fishball noodle stall near the Meridian Shopping Centre and my.. the noodles were great! However, i feel that the ba cuo mee is not as nice as the one found in vista point... where is it? it's near my house!! Ask me!!! hahaha..
Other than spending the month of September studying and mugging for our mid-term tests, we found time to celebrate my mummy's birthday at Jack's Place in causeway point. The food is delicious there.. we ate till we were stuffed... gosh.. mr calvin was soo amazed with the amount of food that we actually finished.. well, there went my diet~!
It was my mummy's 50th birthday!!! So fast lor.. i'm already 20 going on 21.... wow.. time flies. i think my mum can't believe herself that i'm this big already....
Well, that's all the highlights of my life up till today. Things are pretty much the same everyday.. stress studies and tv... of course there are the occasional dates with mr.calvin that make life fun, enjoyable and interesting... friends around me of course... make life even more spectacular... just met up with my sec sch girlfriends, peiling, huaiyu, shiling and yizhen... hehe.. been a long time already...
But i guess even as everything moves past us and everything changes...remember that there's only one thing constant in our lives... that is change. so try to adapt as much as you can to make life a lil' easier.
